Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring Caregivers onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. No experience required; paid training provided. Starting pay ranges from $15.25 to $22 per hour depending on program. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle in some programs.

As a Caregiver, you’ll support individuals with daily living, build relationships, and help them participate in their communities. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have had a valid driver’s license for 1 full year, without restrictions
• Successful clearance of background checks

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
