Job summary

People Incorporated in Massachusetts is seeking Direct Care Professionals for part-time evening shifts to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. You will assist with daily activities, meals, personal care and accompany individuals on community outings.

No experience is required; we provide on-the-job paid training and opportunities for advancement. The role offers competitive pay of $21.00 per hour, rising to $22.00 after one year of benefit-eligible employment,

Qualifications

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid driver’s license; Use of your personal vehicle.
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with development disabilities in a residential program.
• Assist with daily activities and ensure a structured routine; this includes meal preparation and personal care.
• Coordinate individual community outings and accompany individuals to appointments and activities.
• Medication distribution and oversight as required by program.
