Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Server to provide high-quality dining services for residents, ensuring exceptional customer care and adherence to safety standards. The role emphasizes friendly resident interaction, accurate order taking, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

The position involves supporting dining operations, collaborating with the team, and assisting with room service when needed, all within a 3pm-8pm Thursday through Monday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), highly preferred.
• Exposure to restaurant operations or the ability to learn.
• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Must complete required background clearances, health screening, and provide negative TB test results within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family, and guests.
• Uphold high table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing between courses, and resetting tables.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting with meal selections and dining needs.
• Review and adhere to residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor.
• Track resident meal attendance and communicate with team for safety checks on absent residents.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and seating residents, including new arrivals.
• Deliver meals to rooms when required and ensure a clean, sanitary dining area.
• Maintain and stock dining supplies and assist with kitchen/dining operations as needed.
• Promote teamwork and MBK values through mentoring and coaching activities.
