Job summary

Friendship Village Chesterfield is seeking a full-time Server to provide outstanding dining service for residents in our Independent Living community. This role emphasizes building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and making a positive impact on older adults.

The position includes an evening shift from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating weekends. Candidates should have experience in service or hospitality and a friendly, compassionate demeanor to support a welcoming dining

Qualifications

Experience in restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, or customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shift.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and attentive meal service to residents in the dining room.
Assist residents with meal selections while following dietary preferences and restrictions.
Deliver meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
Set up, clean, and reset dining areas before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining room.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Create a welcoming dining experience through excellent customer service and compassionate care.
