Job summary

Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at the Buttes is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining room during evening shifts. You will help with table setup, water service, and clearing dishes while assisting servers to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role requires full scheduling flexibility with mostly PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced hotel environment that values cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay efficient under pressure.
• Commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper table setup, bread and water delivery, and clearing dishes.
• Reset tables promptly for incoming guests during dinner service.
• Ensure waters are refilled regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, server stations, and side work areas.
• Stock server stations with necessary supplies including napkins, glasses, and cutlery.
• Support turnover between seating to maintain flow and guest satisfaction.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
