Job summary

West Hills College District is seeking a Vocational Trainer I – V Digital Literacy for temporary evening instruction. The role supports contract educational programs, with pay of $30–$70 per hour and a schedule of up to 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Candidates will deliver professional presentations, assist with participant registration and fee collection, advertise programs, and help develop training materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations for contract educational programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage participants and manage training sessions.
• Leadership in planning and coordinating educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional services including presentations in non-academic, fee-per-service, contract educational programs.
• Assist in participant registration, fee collection, advertising and contract development.
• Develop training materials and provide computer-aided training.
• Analyze front-end needs and assess career interests, skills and competency.
• Evaluate and measure program impact.
• Maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
