Adept Nursing & Rehab of Sutherland is seeking a Full-time Evening Dietary Cook to prepare meals in accordance with dietary and sanitation standards. You will participate in enforcing nutrition plans, maintain equipment, and support a compassionate care environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional food handling preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow written and oral directions in English.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations in institutional kitchens.
• Able to make simple arithmetical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per dietary guidelines and therapeutic diets.
• Follow sanitary regulations and proper food temperatures.
• Meet meal schedules and portion controls.
• Maintain food production records and waste reduction.
• Clean and care for dietary equipment.
• Adhere to menus and special diet instructions.
• Communicate with supervisors and other staff.
• Ensure high quality service in caring environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
