Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Portland, Indiana is seeking a Dietary Assistant for the evening shift. You will help prepare, serve and deliver meals, assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and inventory, and ensure trays match diet requirements.

The role requires reading/writing ability, good communication with residents and staff, and the stamina for standing and lifting. This position offers a supportive team and benefits as part of a skilled nursing facility.

Formación

• Completion of elementary education or ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to read and write in English, communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies, and stay calm under stress.
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended standing, bending, and heavy lifting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation, service and delivery of meals and snacks.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties including work areas, tables, appliances, and floors.
• Assist in dish and utensil washing and cleaning, collect soiled items and store clean items properly.
• Distribute and collect menus and verify tray accuracy with respect to menus and diets.
• Ensure food and supplies for next meals are available and help inventory and store incoming items.
