Job summary

Cura of Long Prairie is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant with dishwashing responsibilities to help prepare and serve meals for residents. Typical shift runs from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm in a clean, friendly dining environment.

Responsibilities include safe food handling, timely service, dishwashing, and assisting the Cook. Candidates should be reliable, able to follow instructions, and work well with the dietary team and residents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dishwashing procedures and sanitation; training provided.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; if a minor, a work permit is required.
• Ability to read basic safety rules and operate simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare and serve food in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen areas; maintain cleanliness.
• Assist Cook and report equipment issues or injuries as directed.
• Follow facility policies, maintain professional communication with residents and staff.
