Allure of Peru in Peru, Illinois is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. You will help ensure residents receive good foodservice while keeping a clean and safe environment.

The role involves preparing meals, serving snacks, and supporting daily dining activities, with part-time hours and a 4pm–7pm shift every other weekend.

Strong English skills and a positive, patient attitude are essential; previous foodservice experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and serve meals per planned menus and special diet orders.
• Provide nutritional snacks and substitute foods as needed.
• Maintain sanitary standards for food, equipment, and supplies.
• Keep the department clean and safe and maintain equipment.
• Wash dishes and ensure utensils and equipment are ready for the next meal.
• Deliver snacks, carts, and trays to designated areas.
• Assist in dining room service and clean kitchen floors as directed.
