Job summary

Rest Haven York in York, PA is hiring a part-time Dietary Aide for shifts from 4pm to approximately 7pm, including weekends and holidays. The role supports meal service, adheres to sanitary and QAIP standards, and promotes trauma-informed care in daily interactions with residents and team members.

You will help maintain clean facilities, follow health and safety guidelines, and assist with training of new staff while contributing to a positive care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must cooperate and communicate with others.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and follow the department uniform policy.
• Adequate health to perform the essential job functions.
• Criminal history background clearance-Act 169 and Act 13.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned positions as outlined in department responsibility schedules.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work areas and performs daily cleaning tasks.
• Ensures proper storage of food items and leftovers.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Attends dept. meetings and facility in-services.
• Follows policies, procedures and standards.
• Assists with training of new staff.
• Performs other duties to support operation.
