Rest Haven York is seeking a Dietary Aide for a regular part-time role in York, PA. The position requires eight-hour shifts early morning or late day, with every other weekend and holiday on schedule. The role emphasizes clean work areas, proper food storage, equipment cleaning, and adherence to QAIP and safety policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with training of new staff, following department and facility policies, and supporting a culture of safety and ethics in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must cooperate and communicate with others.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and follow department policy.
• Adequate health to perform essential job functions.
• Criminal history background clearance - Act 169 and Act 13.

Responsabilités

• Able to perform assigned positions as outlined in department responsibility schedules.
• Maintains clean, sanitary work areas and uses sanitary practices.
• Ensures that food items and leftovers are stored properly.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Attends dept. meetings and inservices and follows policies and standards.
• Assists with training of new staff members.
