Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Dietary Aide for the PM shift (12 PM–8:30 PM) in Santa Cruz, CA. You will support nutrition services for residents and help maintain a clean, pleasant dining environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal prep and tray assembly, serving meals, following food safety procedures, and helping stock kitchen supplies while delivering courteous care.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Passion for providing excellent service to residents

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to dietary plans
• Serve meals and deliver trays to residents in a timely manner

• Stock and organize kitchen supplies
• Provide courteous and respectful interaction with residents and staff
