Job summary

StoryPoint Troy is seeking a Dietary Aide for a part-time 4pm-7pm shift. The role supports kitchen and dining operations, plating meals to dietary guidelines, and ensuring food safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residents.
• Some food service work experience required.
• Great communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employees.
• Plate food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure that sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate with supervisor of shortages or outages.
• Ensure freshness, cooking status and proper temperature of all food being served.
• Maintain all daily logs, postings and documentations required for meal services.
