Job summary

Cura Health in Willmar is seeking a PM Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team at a 78-bed skilled nursing facility. You will be part of the daily mealtime routine, helping ensure residents receive the right meals and a pleasant dining experience.

As a PM Dietary Aide, you’ll assist with evening meal service, close the kitchen, and follow diet cards to prepare and serve meals, while maintaining food safety and cleanliness in a busy kitchen environment.

• Previous restaurant, dietary, kitchen, food service, or healthcare experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• As a PM Dietary Aide, you'll help with evening meal service and closing the kitchen for the day.
• Preparing and setting up food for supper.
• Serving meals to residents.
• Preparing resident trays according to diet cards.
• Delivering and collecting meal trays.
• Helping residents with meal requests.
• Recording required food temperatures.
• Keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold throughout meal service.
• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning and sanitizing counters, equipment, and work areas.
• Sweeping and mopping the kitchen.
• Restocking supplies for the next shift.
• Completing evening kitchen closing duties.
• Working with nursing staff to make sure residents receive what they need.
