Job summary

Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah is seeking a Full Time Dietary Aide for the evening shift. You will prepare meals according to menus and dietary needs, review allergies, assemble trays, and serve residents with care. We emphasize teamwork and compassionate service in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or enrollment in current coursework.
• Experience cooking or preparing meals in institutions serving large groups.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs.
• Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions.
• Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment.
• Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents.
• Prepare and stock snack carts.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks.
