Miller Transportation Group in Brewster, NY is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to maintain and repair Class 1–8 trucks for Miller Truck Leasing. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine codes, brakes, transmissions, and other components.

Candidates should have prior fleet or diesel mechanic experience, a valid CDL or ability to obtain one, and be able to work Monday–Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Company offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• A valid CDL or ability to obtain one with company training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using OEM software and warranty procedures.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.
