Job summary

TSP talent is seeking a Heavy-Duty Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on Diesel and CNG fleet vehicles to keep them safe and road ready.

You will diagnose diesels, gas and electric powertrains, service hydraulic systems, plan repairs using M5, manage parts and work orders, and support a safety-focused team with accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn diagnostic software.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, hydraulics, and waste/recycling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
• Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 system, ensuring parts availability.
• Complete reports, work orders, and parts orders accurately.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with policies.
• Coordinate repairs and train new team members.
• Maintain personal tools and organize the work area.
