Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Seattle is seeking a dishwashers who will maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli, while delivering professional customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning production areas, washing dishes, and assisting with basic prep when needed.

The role requires the ability to work evenings and weekends, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. A Washington Food Worker Card is required and the employer emphasizes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Available to work the evening shift, including weekends.
• Able to work independently and be accountable to the deli team.
• Able to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically able to stand, twist, bend, perform repetitive motions and lift 10–40 lbs regularly.
• Current Food Worker Card from Washington State Department of Health is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other deli equipment.
• Clean deli production and service areas.
• Take out trash, sweep, mop and wipe equipment.
• Provide counter and barista service when needed.
• Assist with basic food preparation, packaging and labeling when needed.
• Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Provide excellent, professional customer service when needed.
