Job summary

PCC Community Markets is seeking a dependable Deli Dishwasher for the Seattle area. This role handles dishwashing for deli prep and service areas, supports basic food prep, and helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, packaging items, and offering friendly customer service as needed. Evening shifts and weekend availability are required, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Evening shift availability, including weekends.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable to the deli team.
• Must be able to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly.
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and various other food preparation equipment used in the deli.
• Cleaning the deli production areas and service areas.
• Taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
• Counter and barista service when needed.
• Basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed.
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met.
• Provides excellent, professional customer service when needed.
