Job summary

Verde Clean is hiring a Day Porter to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. You will handle cleaning, restocking, floor care, and basic safety tasks while serving staff and visitors with courtesy.

The role includes Friday–Sunday 6pm–6:30am (morning shift available) at our Troy, MO locations. Ideal candidates have at least one year of janitorial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• At least one year janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols; work independently and interact courteously with others.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & maintenance: sweep, mop, vacuum floors, wipe surfaces including desks, tables and counters; clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Restocking supplies: keep restrooms stocked with toilet paper, soap, towels; monitor dispensers across the facility.
• Floor care: sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & security: identify hazards and report to supervisor; maintain a safe environment.
• Customer service: provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and team members.
