Job summary

California State University, Sacramento is seeking a temporary Lead Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance across campus buildings and outdoor spaces. Under supervision, you will read and follow instructions, operate custodial equipment, and move items up to 50 pounds, with shifts including evenings or weekends.

This emergency hire lasts up to 90 days (extendable to 180) at $21.00/hour, within the CSU salary range of $3,461–$4,752 per month.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common custodial procedures and methods.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
