Under the direction of the Lead Custodian and the general supervision of area manager(s) the incumbent performs
cleaning maintenance assignments in various University buildings and external spaces.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
CSU Classification Salary Range:$3,461.00- $4,752.00per month
Hiring Range/Rate: $21.00 per hour

Work Hours: Three work schedules are available and will be assigned by management at the time of hire.
1. Sunday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM; Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
2. Tuesday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM; Saturday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
3. Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Department Information
Facilities Management is the steward for the University buildings, physical infrastructure, grounds, and landscape. We perform maintenance and renovation of facilities; plan and manage new construction; support University initiatives though our commitment to building a welcoming campus which covers over 50 buildings on 616 acres; and by creating a dynamic physical environment for students, faculty, staff, and the community. Ability to read and write at a level appropriate to the duties of the position; follow verbal and written instructions to
ensure safety; operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position; use custodial systems
such as those used to track work orders and two-way radios for communication; observe safety requirements and safe
work practices and methods as required; perform work involving regular physical activity; and establish and maintain
cooperative work relationships. Some positions may require ability to move up to 50 pounds.
License:
Some positions may require possession of a valid California driver’s license
