Job summary

Colonial School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian to support daily cleaning and maintenance across district facilities. The role runs Monday–Friday from 3:30pm to 11:30pm, with start ASAP and a 12-month work year.

You will perform cleaning, minor repairs, snow removal, and assist with cafeteria areas; must pass background checks and TB tests; valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible for shift changes and district needs.
• Able to read/write and communicate professionally with staff and students.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as assigned to keep buildings clean, safe and attractive.
• Clean floors, walls, fixtures, and common areas; maintain furniture.
• Assist in cafeteria area—clean floors, remove filters, clean hood, bathrooms, sinks, and trash.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs to building facilities.
• Assist in snow removal and ensure regular attendance.
