Job summary

Colonial School District is seeking a Custodian Part-Time to support the New Castle facility with daily cleaning and upkeep. You will ensure clean, safe, and welcoming classrooms, offices, and common spaces for students and staff.

The role runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and reports to the Building Chief. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Start date is ASAP.

• Must be flexible for shift changes and schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep buildings clean and safe.
• Clean floors, walls, offices, classrooms, and common areas.
• Assist in cafeteria areas and handle basic maintenance tasks.
• Support snow removal and basic repairs as needed.
• Maintain neat appearance and professional communication with staff.
