Job summary

University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls seeks a custodian for the second shift to maintain building cleanliness and safety.

Starting wage is $18.76 per hour with $1.25 shift differential, schedule Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with multiple campus facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties for general maintenance of buildings.
• Carry, lift, bend, empties trash and recycling; change light bulbs; shovel snow and spread ice melt; report needed repairs.
