Job summary

Pea Ridge School District seeks a dedicated Evening Custodian for the 3:30-12:00 shift at Pea Ridge, Arkansas. You will maintain school facilities, floors, restrooms and common areas to ensure a safe, clean environment for students and staff.

The role includes operating cleaning equipment, reporting hazards, and supporting the custodial team. Regular attendance and punctuality are expected, with duties across multiple facilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial activities to maintain buildings, locker rooms and adjacent grounds in a clean, orderly condition.
• Sweep, mop, wax and polish floors; vacuum rugs and carpets in classrooms, offices and other areas.
• Clean restrooms, classrooms, gym, cafeteria and offices; disinfect fixtures and surfaces.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum, floor stripper, buffer, carpet shampooer and scrubber.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance needs; assist in security of buildings.
