Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking a Custodian for Camden Rockport Elementary School in Camden, ME. This year-round, full-time position runs from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with a flexible schedule including weekend rotations. The successful candidate will adapt to varying daily assignments and support a safe, clean school environment.

Key responsibilities include cleaning, minor repairs, event setup, grounds maintenance, and snow/ice removal as needed. Background check and CHRC approval required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery.
• Ability to perform a wide range of cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• General floor care and cleaning.
• Restroom maintenance, including sanitizing and stocking.

• Aid in set-up for special events.
• Ensure clean school grounds, including litter removal.
• Aid with snow/ice removal as needed.

Position Summary

Camden Rockport Elementary School is now hiring a year-round Custodian for our school. The normal work schedule for this positions is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend rotation, and be willing to adapt to different assignments from day to day.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment within the school buildings and grounds, including but not limited to:

Pay And Benefits

• Pay is $20.27 - $25.72 per hour based on experience, within the parameters of the applicable contract
