Job summary

ServiceSource Inc. is seeking a part-time janitor to maintain the building and its environs, with duties that include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors, trash removal, and cleaning restrooms. The role supports our AbilityOne program and accommodates a 5:00 pm–9:00 pm shift.

Qualified applicants typically have a high school diploma or GED and custodial experience, plus the ability to follow written and oral instructions and work well with others in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to comprehend basic written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• The janitor cleans and maintains the building, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop and empty trash daily.
• Operate floor buffer and scrubber machines for cleaning rugs.
• Clean glass on doorways and entrances.
• Monitor security by locking doors after cleaning.
• Notify management of repairs when necessary; perform other duties as assigned.
