Job summary

Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE is seeking a part-time Custodian to keep campus facilities clean and orderly both inside and outside assigned areas. This 29-hour-per-week position offers evening shifts.

Under supervision, the custodian handles cleaning, waste removal, and setup for events, following safety procedures with chemicals and supporting a respectful, inclusive environment for students, staff, and the public.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• One year of custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas and restrooms.
• Secure areas by locking doors and turning off lights as required.
• Assist with room set-ups and event preparation.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Promote belonging and comply with college policies.
