Job summary

Rochester Public Schools is seeking a Custodian II to perform cleaning and maintenance across multiple sites, including Might Oaks and Franklin. The full-time schedule runs 2:30 pm–6:20 pm and 7:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 260 duty days per year.

Responsibilities include following daily cleaning schedules, operating powered equipment, snow removal, and maintaining safety and order. A high school diploma or GED and a Minnesota driver's license are required, with

High School diploma or GED required.
Minnesota Driver's License required.
Boilers Operator License preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Provides cleaning services for the Rochester Public Schools; may be assigned to multiple locations.
Follows daily cleaning schedule and maintains area/equipment.
Operates cleaning equipment and performs heavy lifting as needed.
Removes snow/ice and applies snow melt for safety.
Ensures building security during shift.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
