The Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a Custodian II Floater for evenings (2:30pm-11:00pm) in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role offers $21.13 per hour and benefits start after the first day, with multiple optional benefits including medical, dental, vision, IPERS, holiday pay, PTO, and FSA.

Responsibilities include cleaning, light fixtures, yard work, snow removal, handling supplies, moving furniture, and supporting the building principal and engineer.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of modern cleaning methods, the use and care of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform minor building repairs.
• Ability to plan, organize and carry out work schedules efficiently.
• Responsible attitude towards job and fellow workers.
• Must be in excellent physical condition.
• Must be able to pass the Physical Capacity Profile tests.

Responsabilidades

• General cleaning, such as sweeping, cleaning of carpets and blinds, emptying of waste receptacles, cleaning toilet facilities and filling of dispensers.
• Clean light fixtures and replace bulbs.
• Do yard works such as mowing, trimming, general cleanup and marking athletic fields.
• Keep walks and entries clear of ice and snow.
• Help with receiving and storing supplies for the building cafeteria.
• Move and arrange furniture for school functions.
• Carry out additional requests of building principal and engineer, as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
