Job summary

SBM Management Services is seeking a Custodian in Wilmington, NC for an evening shift. You will perform janitorial duties, follow the daily schedule, operate cleaning equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to safety and company policies.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read instructions, and basic knowledge of cleaning methods. Bilingual helpful; forklift certification or driver’s license may be preferred.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Strong reading and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow daily schedule and complete tasks.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Report incidents or hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Collaborate with team and lead on tasks.
