Job summary

SSC Services for Education in Tucson area is hiring full-time janitors to keep schools clean and safe. The role covers routine cleaning tasks, floor care, and waste disposal, with a focus on infection control.

Location: Marana USD on North Silverbell Rd; schedule Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:30 pm; fixed pay rate of $15.15 per hour. Applicants with prior cleaning experience are encouraged to apply; benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash per procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning; place back correctly.
• Clean surfaces; sanitize; follow eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards as needed.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinsh floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team with professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
