Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring for a full-time JANITOR position at Abia Judd Elementary, 1749 Williamson Valley Road, Prescott, AZ 86303. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Requires 6 months of janitorial experience.

Fixed pay rate of $15.15 per hour. Benefits include training and growth opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and potential for same-day pay. We are a Compass Group member, dedicated to clean and safe learning environments.

Qualifications

• 6 months of janitorial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with proper materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Performs tasks in accordance with federal, state and county guidelines.
