Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR position at Marana USD, 12000 West Emigh Road, Tucson, AZ 85743. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm; online applications accepted only.

Keeps buildings clean and orderly, performs heavy cleaning duties including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, washing walls and glass, and trash disposal, following infection control plans. Prior janitorial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
• Fixed pay rate of $15.15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rug shampooing, walls and glass, and rubbish removal.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves furniture for cleaning; sanitizes surfaces.
• Encourages cleanliness following infection control plans and eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
