Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Owings Mills, MD to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, and follow safety procedures to support a safe work environment.

The role requires 3–6 months of training or experience, with a preference for bilingual candidates and the ability to work a 5pm–10pm schedule. A valid driver’s license may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Bilingual a plus with good reading and writing abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and daily schedule tasks.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain area upkeep.
• Handle hazardous waste collection, labeling, and shipping as needed.
• Report incidents to supervisor and follow safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with leads, co-workers, and customers.
• Adapt to shift needs and support others during staff shortages.
