SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to perform janitorial and sanitation duties in the Raleigh area. The role includes completing the daily schedule, handling hazardous waste tasks, and operating cleaning equipment while maintaining a safe work area.

You will report incidents to a supervisor and work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and customers in a professional manner. The position emphasizes safety training, PPE usage, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred
• Forklift certification may be required; safety training completed
• Valid driver’s license may be required; completing safety/task training
• Bilingual ability is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned
• Follow daily schedule and complete tasks
• Handle hazardous waste duties: collection, classification, storage, shipping
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report incidents to supervisor
• Follow safety rules and company procedures; assist team
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers and customers
