Job summary

Central Services of Jefferson County is seeking a dedicated custodian for the second shift to keep county facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role covers office cleaning, restrooms, floor care, and basic setup for meetings, with flexible start times beginning no earlier than 3:00 p.m.

We value reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The position offers hourly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, savings plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Twelve months related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Assist with setup of facilities for meetings and move furniture.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and vehicles in winter.
• Strip, clean, buff, and seal hard surface floors.
• Ensure buildings are secured when not in use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
