Job summary

University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is seeking a Custodian to perform routine custodial tasks in classrooms, offices and facilities, keeping them clean, sanitary and safe. The position is 1.0 FTE with an evening schedule (Monday–Friday 4:30PM–1:00AM) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Key duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, waste removal and operating cleaning equipment. Salary is $32,760 with TRS eligibility.

Qualifications

• There are no minimum education or experience requirements.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Ability to operate a personal computer and basic software.
• Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop, wash, and wax floors; vacuum carpets.
• Dust, wash, and polish furniture and woodwork.
• Empty waste receptacles; clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Operate vacuums and floor cleaning/polishing machines.
• Deliver supplies between campus locations.
• Turn out lights and secure doors when leaving buildings.
