Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Custodian at the CDC Chamblee location to maintain cleanliness and safety for staff and visitors. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, dusting, mopping, and general site upkeep alongside a dedicated team in a federal site setting.

Shifts run Monday to Friday evenings (1:30pm-10:00pm). The role offers weekly pay, paid time off, an employee discount, and benefits including health/dental/vision; uniforms are provided and opportunities for job skills training

Qualifications

• General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain a positive attitude during repetitive tasks.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength using cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with your supervisor and co-workers.
• Compliance with Federal vaccine mandate per contract site.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, damp mopping tile floors and stairwells.
• Dust and clean walls, doors, windows and other surfaces above floor.
• Dust, clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Police common areas.
