GRBS is hiring a Custodian for the 2nd shift at Wayland Union Schools in Wayland, MI. The position runs Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am, totaling 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

The role requires consistent attendance, adherence to GRBS processes, and respectful communication within a school environment. Ideal candidates will be 18+, with valid ID, and bring leadership traits, dependability, self-motivation, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• Michigan public schools restrict applicants with theft, violence or drug backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Maintain mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish tasks according to the building map and shift.
• Perform cleaning tasks: mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash removal.
