Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year cleaning industry experience required
• Basic proficiency in the English language including reading, writing, and speaking
• Provide responsive customer support in custodial and related building operations
• Must observe and comply with standard safety codes and practices and perform work in accordance with university standards
• May be assigned to work independently or as part of a team; respond to off-hour emergencies as needed

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized cleaning of academic and non-academic spaces
• Maintains all assigned areas in a clean, orderly, and sanitary manner
• Restocks restroom and kitchen consumables daily
• Operates cleaning equipment and manages waste/recycling
• May be required to lift heavy objects and work overtime for business needs
