Job summary

HES Facilities in Williamsburg, VA, is seeking a Custodial Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead custodial staff, uphold safety standards, and ensure quality cleaning operations.

You will organize daily work, train employees on safety and PPE, investigate incidents, and coordinate with management on supplies and emergencies. A high school diploma is preferred, with an Associate's degree a plus. The position pays $18 per hour and offers benefits.

Qualifications

• Facilitates and coordinates key personnel and processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Organizes, schedules, assigns and performs daily work; team leader for safety in work area.
• Trains all employees in safety-related issues and provides proper PPE.
• Investigates accidents and reports causes of injuries.
• Provides on-the-job training for new employees and ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily custodial operations and major cleaning projects.
• Supervise Custodians to ensure quality and quantity of work.
• Coordinate emergencies (fire/flood/snow) and assist after-hours as needed.
• Manage supplies and chemicals with management for staff use.
