Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) is seeking a lead custodian for Thoreau Elementary, with an hourly wage of $29.79 on the 26-27 Salary Schedule. This non-exempt, fulltime role operates Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, and requires supervision of custodial staff and coordination of daily building activities.

Formación

• Six months custodial experience with MMSD.
• Experience training, coaching, and evaluating staff on custodian techniques.
• Ability to read, follow directions, and maintain records.
• Ability to motivate staff to complete tasks accurately and on time.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prioritize the custodial team's work to meet district standards.
• Lead and model performance as a Custodial Worker I and Building Custodian.
• Cover for the Building Custodian as needed.
• Enter and process work orders and building permits in a timely manner.
• Perform outdoor duties including trash pickup, landscaping, and snow/ice removal.
