Job summary

American Senior Communities in Auburn, AL is seeking a Culinary Aide for a full-time evening shift to assist with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen to support resident dining.

You will partner with culinary leaders, prepare portions per menus and resident diets, set up trays and carts, assist with cleaning duties, and help maintain a positive dining experience for residents. A supportive team and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification, if required by state/federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meals according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary workplace.
