Job summary

American Senior Communities’ Franklin Meadows is seeking a Culinary Aide for the evening shift to assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

Join ASC team and partner with culinary leaders to meet residents’ dietary needs and provide a positive dining experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and sanitation standards, with potential growth and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service commitment is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work with culinary team and leaders.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred by ASC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menus and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Keep equipment clean and maintain a sanitary workplace.
