Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist for the Advocate South Suburban Hospital CT department in Hazel Crest. You will perform emergency and routine CT procedures, follow procedural standards, and ensure patient safety while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, CPR, IEMA, and ability to work 3:00PM–11:00PM shifts, with weekend/on-call duties. Expect 40-hour weeks, on-site work, and opportunities to collaborate with radiologists and cross-department teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year Radiology tech experience and CT certification required.
• Proficiency in CT procedures and contrast administration.
• Familiarity with radiology safety protocols.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and routine CT procedures following standards.
• Access veins for contrast injections.
• Recognize contraindications and adverse reactions to contrast.
• Operate CT equipment and report issues.
• Coordinate exams and multi-department workflow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Assist Radiologist with invasive procedures as needed.
• Contribute to CQI/QA and ACR statistics.
