Job summary

Advocate Health's Imaging Services department is seeking a part-time CT technologist for the first shift (8:00am–4:30pm). No weekends, nights, or holidays.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities to work across outpatient clinic and urgent care settings are offered. The role requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Wisconsin Radiographer license, ARRT RT and CT registrations, BLS within 6–18 months, and no prior experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures across multiple body regions.
• Obtains medical history and verifies orders for exam accuracy.
• Positions patient and selects scanning factors, ensuring proper imaging and radiation safety.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction; assists with scanning techniques.
• Post-processes images and labels files with patient information; oversees QA and equipment calibration.
