Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a CT Technologist at Monmouth Medical Center to perform computed tomography under the supervision of a radiologist. You will prepare patients, administer contrast, and ensure radiation safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registration, CT certification, NJ license, and prior CT experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• CT Certification.
• NJ License required.
• Previous CT experience required.
• Maintains BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operates under supervision of a board-certified radiologist and delivers high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares patients and administers contrast dye as required.
• Ensures radiation safety and proper exposure parameters.
• Marks, archives and communicates findings in Radiology Information System.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintains room readiness and supplies for efficient workflow.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
